Quite possibly the worst GOP Chairman of my lifetime, Michael Steele has become a sideshow for the Republican party. He has significantly overstayed his welcome and should remove himself from politics.
The Party would be in much better hands under a new leader. Both Sarah Palin and Jeb Bush would be good replacements.
Ken Blackwell, former Ohio Secretary of State, would be a good replacement for the Man of Steele. Ken is actually a black conservative, not a “moderate” like Mr. Steele. He should have been chairman last time. The party makes too many such mistakes. Earlier they thought Reagan couldn’t win – imagine that line of thinking today.
