Ron Paul Leaving His Mark

Although he’s still a long shot to win the GOP nomination, Congressman Ron Paul’s limited-government stance is resonating with voters and even some parts of the media.  A clear change from the gimmicky “compassionate conservative” shtick of the current Administration, Paul’s message of limited government and lower taxes in order to get government spending under control makes most small government conservatives nod in agreement.  Although, I can’t agree with all of his stances (returning to the gold standard, the concept of a North American Union), he makes a lot of sense on the whole.

Update: Ron Paul Moves from Unknown to Sleeper

Popularity has Ron Paul’s campaign moving into their third office–they have already outgrown two!  That’s pretty good for the man with more money on hand than Senator John McCain.  An interesting read here on his new found popularity.

Ron Paul on ABC “This Week”

Here’s a very refreshing interview with Dr. Paul, a small-government conservative who was against the Iraq war from the beginning, would pull our troops out of the Middle East, would lower taxes and cut spending.  He’s definitely worth a look.
